Your dog needs regular movement but do not exaggerate. Too much exercise can cause stress and dog constipation as well. The most common reason for dog constipation is wrong nutrition. If the digestibility of the food is low then lots of undigested food ends up in the colon. There the change happens from a liquid to a more tight stadium because the water gets extracted from the food. Any problems there can either lead to diarrhea or constipation.
